Compressed air is a costly form of energy, and 20% to 40% of it is lost due to leaks. Systematically checking and eliminating these leaks can therefore result in significant energy savings. The Leakshooter® LKS 1000 V3T+ PRO is a unique and remarkable detection device:

It uses a camera and a dynamic on-screen target to pinpoint the exact location of the leak (patented).
It features a new steam trap diagnostic concept: STRAPSHOOTER+®. The STRAPSHOOTER+® program is an easy-to-use firmware that can automatically diagnose the condition of your steam traps.

The Leakshooter® LKS 1000 V3T+ PRO is extremely sensitive and can detect compressed air leaks from a distance of 20 meters—even those no larger than the tip of a syringe needle. The Leakshooter® LKS 1000 V3T+ PRO is used like a camera. As it approaches a leak, a dynamic yellow target appears on the large color screen. The target turns red and shrinks as it gets closer to the leak source. A bar graph at the bottom of the screen accompanies the search and makes it easier. When the device is pointed at the leak, a cross appears at the center of the target. It is then possible to photograph and save the exact location of the leak. Each photo is numbered, dated, timestamped, and shows the dB RMS level of the leak. Photos can be uploaded directly to a PC via a USB cable (included with the product), ready to be added to inspection reports.

While visually searching for a leak, it is still possible to use the traditional leak detection method and listen to the hissing sound of the leak using professional headphones that can be plugged directly into the device. Various accessories are available for the Leakshooter® LKS 1000 V3T+ PRO to enable its use in other applications and leak detection tasks.
